Delete Your Account
You can delete your Dad Bytes account and its data at any time, directly from the app. Follow the steps for your device below.
Android
On Google Play devices
- 1Open the app on your Android device.
- 2Tap the Profile (or Settings) icon in the top-right corner.
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- 4Read the confirmation notice, then tap Delete to confirm.
If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel billing.
iOS
On iPhone and iPad
- 1Open the app on your iPhone or iPad.
- 2Tap the Profile (or Settings) icon in the top-right corner.
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- 4Read the confirmation notice, then tap Delete to confirm.
If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel billing.
What happens to your data
Deleted immediately
- ✓Your account and login credentials
- ✓Your profile and in-app preferences
- ✓Saved content — affirmations, recipes, and favourites
- ✓Any email address collected for early access notifications
Retained
- •Anonymised usage analytics that are not linked to your account
- •Payment and receipt records held by Google Play, the App Store, or Stripe, which those providers retain for their own legal and tax obligations
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Backups are purged within 30 days.
Can't access the app?
Email us from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my account”, and tell us which app you use. We'll confirm your identity and delete your account within 30 days.
